An Open Letter to Pastors Dear Pastor, As we venture into 2008, there is a continued spirit of excitement and anticipation of what God is doing in our region. With the Graham Festival starting on April 25, 2008, National Day of Prayer has been given the opportunity to kick-off this event with a powerful evening of corporate prayer and worship on Thursday, April 24th, 2008 at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Our theme for the evening is “America, Cry Out for Revival” according to Psalms 34:14-15. Every great revival was preceded by a prayer meeting. It is important for the body of believers to come together in unity and cry out for a great spiritual awakening and revival in the East TN region, to spread across the country. This is where you come in. Since everything rises and falls on leadership, we wanted to begin with the hearts of pastors. Our goal is to partner with pastors who are willing to promote the National Day of Prayer event with their congregation. We hope that we can break down denominational walls, and come together as His body to Confess, Repent, and Yield to the Holy Spirit, so He can have His way throughout this land. We have a promotional DVD & other materials available to be shown to your congregation to encourage their attendance or participation. Please call or email if you would like these valuable tools. There are still areas where your church can volunteer for this event. Please see our website www.knoxdayofprayer.com for more information, or call 524-5194. Email: thewaterangels@gmail.com. We hope that you become a part of the movement of revival in our region for the glory of God. In Him, Stephanie Mitchum |
